While traveling, Honoka was confronted by one of the few Demons left alive after the slaughter by the Setsuga clan. With a malevolent cry, the Demon moved to strike Honoka, who was too stunned by the truth of her clan's actions to raise her sword. Honoka's bodyguard rushed in to protect her and took the blow from the Demon's blade in his back. When Honoka saw her bodyguard fulfill his duty right before her, she wiped away her tears and raised her blade again. She had her own duties to fulfill.
