Metal Egg

A rare, metallic lifeform that accumulates large amounts of knowledge within its shell. A hero soul that merges with it gains its knowledge as experience, making them sought-after targets for adventurers. However, there is much that is not known about its ecology and behavior, making their capture extremely difficult. Because of this, areas where Metal Eggs are spotted frequently become adventurer shanty towns overnight.
