Memory Crystal

A translucent mineral found all throughout the empire. Originally colorless, it takes on a purple tint by absorbing magic from the souls that linger in the mines. It is often used in making accessories, but wearing them near large deposits of the same ore can produce strong sensations of deja vu. One theory claims the residual thoughts mixed with the ghosts' magic resonate with each other and amplify.
