True "Night Edge"

Batiste's preferred weapon, given to him personally by the emperor when he was inducted into the Zero Guard. Their coloring lets them melt into the shadows. The shape gives the impression they are meant to be thrown from a distance, but one of his physical prowess and reflexes can use them in close combat. The deadly glint as he turns them in his hand before striking is the origin of his nickname: "The Black Flash".
